Hello, I don't know what I did in settings. Now any changes I made will
go saved. And sometimes I am just testing things out. Where can I
enable the confirmation?
Thanks,
ming

You didn't do anything wrong. Autosaving is just the way Access works --
save when you leave the main form to enter a subform, when you move to a
different record on the same form, or when you close the form. If you want
to intercept and require a confirmation, you write VBA code in the
BeforeUpdate event of the form in which you edit the record. If you are
editing a table or query directly in datasheet mode, you are out of luck.
