Has anyone got any experience using off-the-shelf Inventory Management
Software?

I've tried demos of both:
WASP MobileInventory
and
iMagic Inventory.

While both offering great features in terms of stock, we feel they lack
when it comes to logging sales. In particular we are concered with
logging multi-user sales - in order to draw up sales-related bonuses.

WASP say their WDT2200 comes with EPOS software installed but their
website is very sketchy about what this is. The salesperson told me it
is for point of sale but the only reference I can find is to something
called appgen which surely isnt EPOS software.

I'm trying to find out EXACTLY how someone who purchased Mobile
Inventory would be able to process sales and reduce their stock in MI.
I know WASP sell software called QuickStore which would provide very
good EPOS functions but is this dependent on exporting and importing or
do they share databases?

I'm very confused.

comp.databases.ms-access is for questions and answers about Microsoft Access
database software. You'll stand a better chance of getting the answer you
need if you find an appropriate newsgroup. I doube alt.computer.consultants
is an appropriate newsgroup, either, but it may be a better guess than this
one.

Should you decide to implement your own Inventory Management package, and
want to use Access, you'll find comp.databases.ms-access a friendly place to
get assistance.
