Thanks, Brendan,
I have the same problem as Stefen except my function is not a user defined
function. It is a built-in function "FormatNumber". Is there any way to fix
this? or I have to leave it based on your following information.

Unfortunately, there is no way to fix this problem: certain functions simply
aren't available from outside of Access.
