I would like to request your help is finding the best practice solution for
this situation:

Setup: Condominium complex consisting of three buildings, each having its
own access database (mdb file)

However the mdb file for one of the buildings has the information for all
the three buildings

Requirement: to remove the information of the other two buildings.

Solution as I see it: I thought the easiest way to do this is to create a
new mdb file and export the data of this one building only.

Is this possible and if yes how would it affect the six workgroup computers
once the new mdb file goes live? Presently they just click on the shortcut
to the file on the workgroup server.

Will creating the new mdb file require some special references or links to
be created? My choice of words may be misleading, so please excuse me.

If this is possible, is there a step by step solution you can link me to?

Thank you in advance.

JJoe

Why not just do a delete query that will delete the data for the other two
buildings?
