Author disconnect idle users for backup

Hello
I have a practice management software that uses a jet\access database.
Has mdb extension.
Our problem is that the backup will of course skip the database during
backup if one of the users fail to logout before leaving for the day.
Is there a program that has a schedule feature on it to disconnect
users so that the database file will ok to backup.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

One approach is outlined in http://support.microsoft.com/?id=128814

Don't be thrown off by the "Applies To" section: the Access 97 advice should
work in all subsequent versions of Access as well.
