How do you deal with 2 users opening the same form and editing the same
info?
We have a small peer to peer network, one pc is a standalone where the "be"
is located, that pc does not run server software, its running XP Pro. I
believe there is a stipulation of only 5 pc's max at a time I believe, I
could be wrong.
Anyhow,
Today is the first day I have tried my application and I did run into
intentionally the problem of 2 users having the same form, editing the same
data, I got an error of not being able to save the data, because of someone
else has already made a change and it ask if would you like to copy to the
clipboard or save your data.
All of the forms work very well ,except when you share the same form.
I know I didnt do something right,
how do you deal with this?

See Rick Brandt's response to Chris Thorpe, subject "Is Access multi-user by
default" today, regarding splitting into front (queries, forms, reports,
macros, modules) and back (tables, relationships, and data) end databases.
Also, there's an introductory presentation on Access in a Multiuser
Environment that I did for my user group that you can download from
http://appdevissues.tripod.com. It will identify topics that I thought
worthwhile to discuss, and a bit more. The best collection of detailed
