| I have already split my database and now I want to add another table to the
program. I have added the "unsplit" table in the front end - how do I
split it to the back end?

| Meredith,
The table should be added to the Back End, then in the Front End you go
File > Get External Data > Link Tables and get it a linked table from
the BE.

| You should have added the Table to the Back-End. You can then go to the
Front-End and link the newly created Table from the Back-End to the
Front-End.
For your current situation, simply go to the Back-End and import (not link)
the new Table from the Front-End. You can then go to the Front-End, delete
the new Table (which was imported into the Back-End) and then link the same
Table from the Back-End to the Front-End.
