On Macro: When using 'Transfer database' how do i change data type from
number to text without using or going thru Text-wizard (manual-process). By
default the Text-wizard when executing this step in a macro, it evaluates
each field's contents and automatically gives it data type status (this i
understand) but how do I tell it for a spefic field to use my status as
assigned by me?

1) You can't change field types using TransferDatabase.

2) If you click the Advanced button while using the Text import/export
wizard you can save a file specification including field types, and use
this subsequently with TransferText macro or VBA.

If neither of those is the answer to your question, please post back
with a clearer explanation.
