| 1) You can't change field types using TransferDatabase.
2) If you click the Advanced button while using the Text import/export
wizard you can save a file specification including field types, and use
this subsequently with TransferText macro or VBA.
If neither of those is the answer to your question, please post back
with a clearer explanation.
