| Moved my app to use SQL Pass Through on Windows 2k LAN. All is well except
one user gets a seemingly random "internal consistency error" as he
instantiates one of the forms. MSDN search results in a page that recommends
to call Microsoft Support who is looking for a credit card number....
Any ideas would be appreciated.

| Try deleting your FOXUSER.DBF and FOXUSER.FPT files.

| Fred - tnx for the suggestion. Deleted all occurences of foxuser on server
and client machines. Still get the occasional 'internal consistency error'.
Do I rebuild the machine next?

| Then you may have a corrupted index file. Try re-indexing all data files,
you may need to re-create the indexes, not just do a REINDEX command.
Something, somewhere is corrupted or you might have a flakey memory module,
that is not an error you should ever see if things are in good shape.

| Will do. I had ruled the indexes out as I reindex automatically nightly.
Only one of a dozen or so machines that bang away using the app have
experienced the problem thus my leaning toward simply rebuilding that machine.

| If it's a single machine, you may have a problem with the NIC, cable,
memory, video card, etc., there alone.
