Major issue. Cannot print most of the time

| I am an end user of a 3rd party app we have.
The application is installed on Windows Server 2003, where our users
will be running the application from.
Our software works by us pressing a button that generates 3 or 4
independant printouts. Prior to this a PRINT dialog appears asking
which printer to select, again this happens 3 or 4 times through a
single PRINT button within the application.
It appears that each print that is generated loads and unloads the
printer drivers. We have tried both inbuilt windows drivers as well as
those from HP.
Quite simply what happens is we get an error message that says it
cannot load the printer driver (this in an internal message from the
app.
Can anyone offer any suggestions.

| Try to make the printer as the default printer before opening the
application.
If it works the problem will be the network or the printer. The error
usually means that the application does not see the printer as available in
real time.
