Author VFP9 Project Manager window won't unhide

While working on a project, the PM window disappeared and I cannot get it
back!

Clicking on the Project Manager item in the Window menu does nothing.

I've tried:
SHOW WINDOW [PROJECT MANAGER]
HIDE WINDOW [PROJECT MANAGER]
MOVE WINDOW [PROJECT MANAGER] CENTER (just in case it somehow jumped off of
the screen)

Other projects will display the PM window just fine.

I've uninstalled VFP and deleted the VFP folder, deleted all project files,
reinstalled VFP9, and used a fresh copy of the original project from a CD
that used to work before.

I am new at VFP and this project was created by another company. I was in
the process of setting the data connections when VFP pegged the CPU at 100%
and the PM window went bye bye.

Any ideas?

Regards,
David

Hi David:

I would start VFP and issue a SYS(2005) in the Command window. This gives
the location of the Foxuser resource file. Exit VFP and go to that folder
and delete the Foxuser.dbf and Foxuser.dbf files. Restart VFP and see if
the Project Manager window appears.

I hope this helps.

Hi David:

Great. I am glad that helped. Since the Foxuser files stores window
positions, I always recommend deleting or renaming those files as a first
step.

I hope this helps.

Hi Lee, David,

I thought I had lost the PM once also. Turned out I had accidentally docked
it by double clicking it's title bar. Just for future reference.

Regards,

Mike
