I'm using VFP8 and I have make a standard setup but the dimension of this
setup is near to 30MB. Usually with VFP6 the dimension of the same setup is
5MB, where I wrong?
I want include just the library of VFP8 in order to update the old
application to the new version, thanks in advance for all reply,
Leonardo

Hi Leonardo,
How did you create the setup? "Installshield Express", as
shipped with VFP, uses Windows Installer technology and
includes a lot of modules automatically, e.g. the entire "Windows
Installer" itself, which may or may not be required on client machines.
For VFP-runtime-only setups see ftp://ftp.prolib.de/public/
( for example ftp://ftp.prolib.de/public/VFP8SP1RT.exe )

| Hi Leonardo:
Along with Stefan's comments, you might want to look at this article:

This article has some good information on using InstallShield with VFP.
I hope this helps.
