Hi,

Can anyone give me some advise on how to install VFP 7.0 on Win XP SP2.

I have been trying for the past few days but nothing works. All i get
is an error message when i start the WCU portion of the setup. It is
unabel to install the runtime components as it canf find
msiexec.exe?????

This is the exact error:
winmain() error. cannot locate expected executable:

foxpro 7.0\wcu\runprog.exe c:\windows\system32\
msiexec.exe

If anyone knows what this is and how to overcome it the help would be
greatly appreciated!

Hi gwm:

I would clear the temp folder by typing %temp% in the Start>Run dialog.
Then delete all the files and folders in the Temp folder. Also, disable
any anti virus running and try the Setup again.

Also, you might try making folder on the hard drive, copy the contents of
the CD-ROM to the hard drive and install from that folder.

I hope this helps.
