Cannot login to Tek-tips website

| Does anyone know how to resolve the cannot login to Tek-tips website problem?
There was another thread about this issue but I don't see any resolution.
Submitting the issue through Tek-tips does not get any reply at all. Does
anyone have any email address of Tek-tips persons? Is Dave Murphy still the
CEO?
Thanks.

| Peter,
You are right - I can't get into Tek-Tips right now, but it was working fine
this morning.
Dave is still in charge! The last message I got from him was signed:
Dave Murphy, CEO
Tecumseh Group, Inc.

| Rick,
My problem has been there for many months. I have emailed Dave before but
get no reply.
Thanks for this reply and all the helps you provided in Tek-tips forums,

| Have you guys had a resolution?
I have sent about 50 requests for help but so far no one has responded.
I even contacted a TekTips member who did not receive a helpful reply from them.
"...you need to use the "contact us" part of the website. I appreciate that you have already done this - all I can assume is that unless it has been a while now, that someone there has or is replying to your message. Having said that, if I was you, I'd try sending another one anyway...."
Clearly the web page isn't working is it!
Anyone any better off?

| Have the same problem as the rest of you with no feedback or results for
the forum manager. Is this site dead? It would be a real shame if it
was. They have been invaluable to me and I miss them terribly.

| I can register/login to tek-tips and not eng-tips. They will not
respond to any of my requests. I hope no one donates because that is
nothing but a money pit! There is no admin.

| Has ANYONE heard ANYTHING about not being able to login to Tek-tips?
What is truly frustrating is knowing the site is up, and that new posts
occur every day!
What's going on?? This is like being in the Twilight Zone episode,
where everyone else has pig-faces and I'm the ugly (normal) one!!!

| Strange business. I was a pig-face until yesterday, but today I can't
connect to Tek-Tips. I hope that it is just down temporarily, as it
has been very useful recently.
What happens when you try to log in?

| I figured out why I was unable to get on Tek-Tips. Could this be your
problem too?
I had my PC remember my handle and password, in order to log on
automatically. It worked fine. Later, on another PC, I changed my
handle. When I returned to the first PC, I could no longer get on
Tek-Tips. When I tried, I only got a "Page cannot be displayed" error
from Windows.
To resolve the problem, I went to http://www.tek-tips.com/index.cfm ,
where I was able to manually enter the correct handle and password, and
log on.
Hope this helps.
