Author how to solve cache !

I code a web service to call update my server data .
But i get exactly data after about 5 secons each call (10 records update).
I try to record the web service handle period behind the server,its shows me
only 1 seconds to finish the update cycle after the call i fired.It confuse
me lots.
I cant refresh my application's grid asap.
