Good afternoon,

Here is an updated status on the Oracle development public databases at
CERN.

- there are now two development databases available:
* devdb: Oracle9iR2 development database
* devdb10: Oracle10g (currently Oracle10gR1 later in 2005
Oracle10gR2), see
http://wwwdb.web.cern.ch/wwwdb/orac...ces/publicservi
ces/devdatabases/devdb10.pdf for more information

- we will progressively migrate accounts from devdb9 to devdb (same
Oracle release), you will be contacted in order to coordinate for this
operation.

You can contact
mailto:physics-database.support@cern.ch (for experiments)
or
mailto:oracle.support@cern.ch
to ask for accounts on the devdb10 development service.

The IT database teams,
Best regards,
eric
