Dear Oracle user,
we are currently working on the integration of our services within the
future=20
Computer Account Management interface, CRA (successor to CCDB). In order
to=20
achieve this, we have to take few steps, starting with the alignment of
the=20
access control/sign-on procedures.

In addition we are reinforcing security to minimise the impact of
possible=20
break-ins. One of the basic steps is to strengthen the quality of the=20
passwords you use to access our services. The patterns used by AFS and=20
NICE are considered solid enough and we have decided to adopt them.

During the first two weeks of June we will activate what is called a
password=20
verification function, by which any future changes of your access
passwords=20
will be forced to comply with a certain number of security requirements
(again,=20
those applied already at AFS and NICE).

Do not hesitate to contact your regular service/support entry point or
DB=20
Administrator(s), should you require further details on this matter.

Thank you very much for your collaboration,
Miguel Angel Marquina, on behalf of the IT Database Services teams
