Support Forum for database administrators and web based access to important newsgroups related to databasesWe recently copied(replicated) a data base for development. everything went well until yesterday we had rows start to disappeared in the source data base. I then found out that the rows disappearing from the source data base were being deleted from the database copy and this was being replicated in the source database. I am sure this is a great feature but I need to stop it from doing this. HELP thanks paul

I guess that you just delete the subscription and/or the pubication then. If you only wanted a one-time copy, you should probably have used snapshot replication. -- Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, esquel@sommarskog.se Books Online for SQL Server 2005 at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pr...oads/books.mspx Books Online for SQL Server 2000 at http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodin...ions/books.mspx
