Drop Table
Support Forum for database administrators and web based access to important newsgroups related to databasesWhere is a good website to help me get started using MS-SQL Server? I have it all set up and just need to read some tutorials on importing already exsisting tables in Access and Excel. I am also looking for tutorials on linking the SQL to an Intranet within the local network for internal employee access. Thanks in advance, Lynn
Post Follow-up to this messageLynn There are lots of very good SQL Server sites on the net. The problem you will find is that most of the content assumes a certain level of Knowledge of SQL Server, which you might not have yet. Having said that quite a few of them do have entry level articles which may help you. Some of the sites I use include. http://www.sql-server-performance.com/ http://www.sqlteam.com/ http://www.bitpipe.com/rlist/term/S...l?src=google_ct http://www.1sqlstreet.com/vb/default.asp?lngWId=5 http://www.sqlservercentral.com/ http://www.dbazine.com/ Hope these help regards John LLively2 wrote: > Where is a good website to help me get started using MS-SQL Server? > > I have it all set up and just need to read some tutorials on importing > already exsisting tables in Access and Excel. > > I am also looking for tutorials on linking the SQL to an Intranet > within the local network for internal employee access. > > Thanks in advance, > > Lynn
