Support Forum for database administrators and web based access to important newsgroups related to databasesIf I were to purchase the Device/User CAL option for SQL 2005 instead of the Processor Licence - do I still need to worry about how many processors I have on the SQl server ? Or is the Device/User CAL per processor as well ? Hope I make sense . Thanks Paul

That said, I believe the number of processors is a consideration only with processor licensing and isn't relevant with CAL licensing.
