SQL Licencing
If I were to purchase the Device/User CAL option for SQL 2005 instead of the
Processor Licence - do I still need to worry about how many processors I
have on the SQl server ? Or is the Device/User CAL per processor as well ?
Hope I make sense .

Thanks
Paul

Re: SQL Licencing
Licensing questions are best answered directly by Microsoft. That said, I
believe the number of processors is a consideration only with processor
licensing and isn't relevant with CAL licensing. For more info, see
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/howtobuy/default.mspx.

Hope this helps.
