Drop Table
Support Forum for database administrators and web based access to important newsgroups related to databasesI have an application that works at hundreds of sites. At this customer's site, they have 1 XP Media Center and 2 XP Home machines. When I try to access the SQL Server via our VB.NET application by SQL Server Name, the XP Home machines work, the media center machine fails with an error 14: Invalid connection. WHen we connect to the SQL machine by the IP address, the media center machine works the XP Home machines receive an error 17: SQL Server does not exist or access is denied. Any idea why the media center machine is acting this way? Darin *** Sent via Developersdex http://www.droptable.com ***
