Thanks - Lori Functional Title: Senior Business Programmer / Analyst People Supervision: 0 Reports to (Position): Manager of Systems Application Development Responsibility: Supervises Position(s): Incumbent's Name: _Primary Responsibility of this Position_: The incumbent is responsible for application development, design, support and maintenance of proprietary Ambac business applications. The incumbent reports to the manager of Systems Application Development and works directly with other key personnel. _Key Position Responsibilities_: * Analyze, design, develop, and deploy business application systems. * Document coded procedures and business processes. (Word, Erwin, Ms Project & Visio) * Prototype new application modules. * Database design & modeling. * Work with other developers to define and document business requirements and specifications. * Work with internal and user QA teams. * Manage multiple projects working with internal staff, users, and outside software vendors. _Core Competencies/Job Factors_: * Solid time management skills * 4-5 years experience with the following programming tools: o VB 6.0 o ORACLE PL/SQL o Crystal Reports / Business Objects * Systems & database design skills.
