Support Forum for database administrators and web based access to important newsgroups related to databasesHi, We have sql7 with sp4. Need to know how do I check our dbs are page level or record level locking> Thanks in advance
Post Follow-up to this messageHi It is not a configuration setting. SQL server determines which one to use based on the query. Most of the time, it will use Page Level Locking. In SQL 2000, row level locking is generally automatically used.
