performance counters in win64

Are there any known bugs preventing sql performance counters from being
displayed in windows 64?  we're using wow and sp4.  They have not shown up o
n
any machine we have installed this way and I can not find any topics that
relate to it.  So far I have tried unloading and reloading the counters but
no go.  One interesting thing is that there is a "Disable Performance
Counters" key in the registry but the value is set to 4 and I have no idea
what that means.
