Support Forum for database administrators and web based access to important newsgroups related to databasesHi, Its a 8GB w2k Advanced Server with SQL Enterprise Edition. PAE and 3GB Flags are set in boot.ini, awe is enabled for the sql server. The sql server is configured to allocate as much as 7 GB, but only gets 4. Anyone got a clue?
Post Follow-up to this messageSilly question but has to be asked. Has the server been re-booted since making the changes? -- Nik Marshall-Blank MCSD/MCDBA "Michael Sander" <spam@h3c.de> wrote in message news:uZUDmmzwFHA.460@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > Hi, > Its a 8GB w2k Advanced Server with SQL Enterprise Edition. Post Follow-up to this message;) yes, a couple of times... There are also no other apps running that could take that amount of memory away from the server...
