cannot install reporting services service pack 2

Hello all,

yesterday, i tried to install reporting services service pack 2 on our
production server (windows 2000)

I failed at the initial step (no database alteration done) with an
error 1635 reported into the logfile

another upper message was that a file names sp1patch.msp was missing or
not accessible (sorry I cannot yet access to logfile for the exact
report)

at first sight, it seems that the trouble is linked to installer...

anyone can help  or else indicate to me a forum or newgroup specialized
for reporting services ?

My need is very urgent : it is a production server and i need to give a
status monday for a new installation window

ps : notice that the installation with the same service pack 2 setup
was successful on my developpement  server (that might be the "same"
configuration as the production one)
