Post Follow-up to this messageHi As long as both are connected to different segments, yes. That is a windows limitation. SQL server will listen on all NICs by default so it does not care. The Os provides the functionality. The bigger challenge is to get your DNS to change quick enough otherwise some users will hit the dead IP. Post Follow-up to this messageHi, Segments are networks or part of. You might have one segment with a 192.168.1 ip address and the other with 192.168.2 ip address. If you have two network card in a machine they can be connected to two network segments.
